I love that you can customize your computer system with Dell. I don't like that they try to sell you all sorts of extras. I see that they've put a shortcut to ebay on the desktop -- they just have too many other companies to keep happy. I was happy with the shipping and delivery. Only one issue -- wanted to track the shipping status, but had to create an account, so I didn't. I have too many random accounts with merchants. Would have preferred if I could track it through DHL rather than through Dell. Overall, very satisfied. Just brought it home today and typing this review on it now :-)

I have not recieve my video camera yet. I noticed the package tracking system is bad because it doesn't really tell you where is you package. It just give you an estimate time for your delivery.

Order not schedled to ship until 9/2/08 so it is impossible to answer some of the above. Will not buy from Dell in future. Needed to change method of payment after order placed (from Dell Preferred Credit to other Credit Card). Was told order needed to be cancelled and re-ordered to do so. Special price was no longer available.
As soon as computer arrives and is paid for, my preferred Dell credit will be cancelled and no additional purchases made from Dell in future.

I love Dell products. I just purchased a digital Kodak camera from Dell and I love it. I used my $100. gift certificate to help me pay for it. I got the gift certificate for purchasing my computer.
I also purchased a Desk top computer and got a lap top for half price. We love our Dells and will continue to shop at Dell.

The mailed offer I received proclaimed "No Shipping!" I ordered my laptop online, and at the end, was hit with an $85.00 shipping charge for next business day delivery via FedEx. Dell's order tracking told me that my order should have been delivered to my home on Friday, August 29. No delivery attempt was made. Since the next business day is now September 2, I paid (without being given a choice) $85.00 for 5th business day delivery. Very poor performance.
