Ritz sent an email today saying that the package was sent today 8/26/08 and and upon contact with them to check delivery date was told the package was refused and returned. Impossible and NOT TRUE. Per Fed Ex Agent at 800#: Pkge was sent on 8/20 - Delivered and refused on 8/23. NOT TRUE. Fed Ex tried to deliver a package addressed to next door neighbor in Apt 110, when told of his error he left. I never received my package and it was returned to Fed Ex shiping. Still waiting for my package.

Person taking order incorrectly entered credit card information and caused numerous delays, e-mails and phone calls. The camera was finally received on the day I was to leave on a trip to Hawaii but it was shipped to my home address in the country 20 miles from my workplace. I had to contact FedEx and they contacted the driver who met me so that I could get the camera before getting on our plane. Thanks to FedEx extra mile, I got the camera four days after the order was placed. The camera is great!

I am very pleased with this entire transaction. I bought the camera and printer for my daughter. I paid, Ritz shipped and everyone is very happy. Easy ordering, tracking, and, hopefully, easy rebate as well. I have bought several cameras from Ritz and have always been pleased. This is the first time I had one shipped and it was great. Thanks to Ritz Camera for outstanding service.

I did not receive the correct items. When I called and explained to this to the rep, he put me on hold and came back to tell me they did send me the correct items. I once again explained to him why the items were incorrect. I also asked him if I had received the correct items then why would I be wasting my time calling him? He then told me the original item I ordered was out of stock, so they sent me these intsead. I explained to him that what they sent me was useless to me because I cannot use them in my camcorder. He told me I would receive an e-mail with a prepaid shipping label to return them and within a few weeks I would get a credit for the full amount including shipping. A few days later I received an e-mail with a credit for the purchase, but not the $7.95 for shipping, nor did I receive a prepaid mailing label as promised. So now I still have discs I cannot use and am out the shipping. Had your company followed through with the original plan to send them back and give me a full credit (including shipping), I would have chalked this up as a mistake and yes I would have shopped here again. But so far it hasn't been handled very professionally. Cindy Valenchis

I had a little trouble with my Bank and Ritz. My American Express Card is under the Bank of America and Ritz had trouble understanding that I couldn't get verification from American Express because the Bank of American had to give my approval. It took about one hour and 3 phone calls to get it finalized. Once the approval was ok, the item was shipped the same day.

I was extremely pleased with the service from Ritz Camera. I ordered my Sony A200 with the two day shipping and it came right on time. About one month later, I ordered a zoom lens for the camera and just asked for regular shipping.
I was given my tracking number and to my surprise, it came two days earlier than expected! I was VERY pleased with that. I guess Ritz Camera really care about their customers. They are with you every step of the way!

Too much hassle. While I appreciate the verification process, I found it to be a very unpleasant experience. The representative was rude, could not understand simple street addresses. I also had put my work address as my billing & shipping address which caused issues since I used my personal card which billing is sent to my home. I realized what I had done and provided my address and correct phone number but the rep. made a simple task as putting the correct info in a frustrating and overly complicated issue.
Next time I make a purchase with Ritz, which is and has been my favorite photo supply merchant for service, employee knowledge, product selection and quality, However I will simply continue to make my purchases at a retail location in the future.
