Pros: Huge 40GB capacity (where's the 160GB version, this is late 2004), Works as hard drive
Cons: Thicker than the 20GB, expensive
The Bottom Line: Get the 20GB if your music collection is moderate, but if you have a Mac (especially a portable), just get the big boy.

Pros: Best iPod yet. Great new design. Easier to use than ever. More affordable.
Cons: Middling sound quality. Limited supported music formats. Poor bookmark support.
The Bottom Line: The iPod is still the one to beat, and the new model helps assert its position at the head of the pack.
