Pros: Longer battery life, cheaper than an Ipod, and just an all around great product.
Cons: Must ship the device to Dell when replacing the battery.
The Bottom Line: This is the way to go for someone wanting a player with plenty of space and want a cheaper way out.

Pros: Small, great sound, 16 hr battery life
Cons: Not as small as the IPOD but stop crying, it's not an anvil!
The Bottom Line: Good for all users I think. Might be too much space for those without big collections but a great player!

Pros: Incredible value, Dell's high reputation, Great ergonomics, Compatibility with different music services
Cons: Battery life, MusicMatch shortfalls, Accessories only from Dell
The Bottom Line: If you don't mind MusicMatch and can utilize AC power, the DJ is the perfect alternative to the iPod near-monopoly.

Pros: Excellent Battery Life, Solid, Good Sound Quality, Nice Backlight, Cool IMO
Cons: Earbuds are lacking..., Shuffle/Random play problems, Musicmatch not the best software
The Bottom Line: Pick this baby up, for $199 you CANNOT go wrong! Slight audio transfer learning curve with file ID3 tags and such.

Pros: Long battery life, backlit display, lighted buttons
Cons: Cannot play all songs without creating separate playlist
The Bottom Line: I heartily recommend this. Having never used an Ipod, but I cannot imagine that it is worth the price that you must pay for it, especially given the many alternatives.

Pros: great operation, in line remote, battery life, good sound quality, voice recorder
Cons: Your songs wont play in order, no firewire
The Bottom Line: This product is definitely for everyone. It beats the IPOD in price and has the same features. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Better sound than ipod, blue backlight, quality at low cost
Cons: Heavier and bigger than ipod, scroll wheel not best design, musicmatch software could be better
The Bottom Line: This mp3 player is not the best in any one area, but strong in many, making it a great value.
